A long long time ago (well, over ten years anyway), Bruce Walker had a dream. He wanted a motorcycle dealership in Gympie where people of all ages and all abilities could feel welcome. A place where if you needed anything from a quad for the dairy farm to a cruiser for the weekend you could find it locally.

He wanted a local business that kept the range of motorcycles, spares and accessories that you find in the mega stores – but has that touch of local ‘familyness’. So he built it – and Motorcycle Country took on Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki.

After being in family business (Little’s Wrecking and Gympie 4WD Spares) for over 25 yrs the Walker family also know the value of customer service. Businesses can claim they have great customer service, but we challenge our team to prove it every day!

Bruce is still found occasionally picking up the spanners in the workshop but the next gen has now taken the reins. We have a great team of people that love this town and share our values as a locally owned family business.
